AI workflows
Start the workflow that matches the task in front of you. OncoBrain does not run an automatic diagnosis-to-treatment sequence. Every result is advisory and remains available for clinician review.
Choose a workflow
| Need | Workflow |
|---|---|
| Turn source text into proposed chart facts | Clinical extraction |
| Assess whether a referral packet is complete enough for review | Referral readiness |
| Prepare diagnostic or staging interpretation | Diagnosis & staging |
| Separate completed work from gaps | Workup |
| Compare cited treatment options | Treatment plan |
| Review a case against internal trial documents | Trial matching |
| Prepare a clinical or coordination narrative | Clinician case summary or Coordinator summary |
| Ask about a case, patients, the Library, or clinical evidence | Copilot |
| Fill missing details while adding a Library document | Document details |
Each run uses the case material and approved reference material available at the time it starts. Later case changes can mark the result Needs refresh. They do not rewrite the earlier result.
Clinical extraction
Clinical extraction turns the case sources into proposed findings. In Extraction review, select Prepare findings. OncoBrain returns proposals, links to evidence, coverage notes, and unresolved items.
Compare each proposal with its source, then accept, edit, or reject it. Select Add and confirm for the findings that should enter the chart. Extraction does not establish patient facts on its own.
Referral readiness
Referral readiness checks whether an incoming referral packet has enough information for clinical review. In Referral readiness, select Assess referral. The assessment identifies the referral reason, available evidence, missing information, conflicts, and a suggested next human step.
An authorized clinician or coordinator then records Needs more information or Ready for clinical review against the current assessment. This is packet routing, not diagnosis, treatment advice, referral acceptance, or transmission.
Diagnosis & staging
In Diagnosis & staging, select Generate to prepare a cited interpretation of the diagnostic and staging information. The draft separates supported conclusions, conditional interpretation, uncertainty, and information to clarify.
Inspect the cited evidence and decide how it applies. The draft does not verify a diagnosis or change the chart.
Workup
In Workup, select Generate to separate documented work from missing information and open questions. The cited draft keeps unknown information separate from normal, negative, or not applicable results.
Use it to guide review and follow-up. It does not order tests, create tasks, or book appointments.
Treatment plan
In Treatment plan, select Generate to prepare a cited comparison of treatment options. OncoBrain creates a treatment draft with Comparison, Flowchart, Matrix, and Draft views. Comparison and Flowchart present the saved draft. If one needs another attempt, the cited draft remains available.
Review the evidence and unresolved checks. You may save a clinician-authored draft version, choose a working option, and edit its planning matrix. These actions do not prescribe, order, schedule, or administer treatment. Read treatment and trial review for the full review path.
Trial matching
In Trial matching, select Generate to review the case against the internal trial documents available to your organization. The result includes a cited draft and a structured review that can propose relevant trials, criterion states, missing information, and sequencing conditions.
Review each relevant criterion, choose one trial to pursue or explicitly choose none, and record a rationale. This does not establish eligibility, current recruitment, site acceptance, consent, or enrollment.
Clinician case summary
Open Clinician case summary in Artifacts and select Generate to prepare a cited narrative of current findings, treatment planning, and unresolved questions.
Review it, optionally mark an eligible version reviewed, and export the reviewed summary as a PDF. Review is not a signature and export does not transmit the document.
Coordinator summary
Open Coordinator summary in Artifacts and select Generate to prepare a cited handoff narrative with current status, unresolved information, and follow-up needs.
Use it for review and handoff preparation. It does not resolve findings, assign real-world tasks, or communicate outside OncoBrain.
Copilot
Use Case Copilot inside a case for a question about that patient's sources, chart, or drafts. Ask in a saved thread; a case can have more than one. Copilot returns an evidence-linked answer in that thread, without changing the record.
You can also open Copilot from the Worklist or Library for general questions, such as which patients need attention, what is in the Library, or recent clinical evidence. It starts without a patient record attached and can retrieve only material you are authorized to see when the question needs it.
Check the evidence and use your judgment. Copilot cannot commit facts, confirm the chart, select a treatment, or take clinical action.
Document details
When adding institutional guidance or an internal trial to the Library, use AI suggestions to fill missing document details. Each suggestion links to a source location.
Review and apply only what is accurate. Suggestions do not publish a document, replace details you already provided, or change patient information.
